The Best Sourdough Glazed Donuts

Last week during my Costco trip (I go there a lot) I was welcomed with an amazing surprise. I posted about finding these amazing tortillas last Fall. A couple of weeks later, they were GONE. I’ve had several people e-mailing me to try and locate them elsewhere because they disappeared from their Costco as well (and once you try them, no other tortilla will taste as good). I was sad that I only had one package stowed away in my freezer and hoarded it for a special occasion (or when I couldn’t stand it anymore). I finally pulled that lonely package out a few weeks ago and my family slowly ate devoured them . . . I was really sad when they were gone. I hadn’t been able to find them anywhere and have been searching online to no avail. With “tortillas” on my grocery list this last week I headed into Costco for some other stuff and thought, “I’ll just double check” (I had been in only the week before and the Truly Grain Tortillas weren’t there). THERE THEY WERE! I gasped, making an elderly lady laugh. I just turned to her and said, “These are the best tortillas in the world and they haven’t had them here for months!” She thought my excitement was funny, but I was thrilled. I almost bought ten packages, then I realized I don’t have the freezer space right now (changing soon when I get my new freezer in a couple of weeks). I bought two packs to hold me over, and I’m praying they don’t suddenly disappear again before I can really stock up.

It might seem silly to get so excited over some tortillas, but honestly, these are amazing. I hope you all have them in your Costco right now and can try them, because they’re fabulous. I could eat them plain. My girls are obsessed with them right now, with melted cheese in of course – they’re 4 and 2 years old! The ingredient list makes me super happy and I don’t care if they eat them all day. I have chicken, beans, corn, and salsa in the crock pot right now, ready to be loaded into these tortillas later with spinach and cheese.

Go and get some. Now. But save some for me!
