The Best Sourdough Glazed Donuts

This recipe for Paleo Breakfast Bread was originally posted in August of 2013. It was then, and is still one of our favorite “treats” to make for breakfast when we want to shake things up a bit. Sometimes you need My kids all love it and think they are getting cake for breakfast. Little do they know . . .

When I first found this recipe, I had been off of grains for about a month. I felt great and loved the “paleo” way of eating, but I was missing carb-like food! I wanted some bread and I wanted to BAKE.
I have been following Elana’s Pantry for years now and this is the first recipe of hers that I actually tried, after ogling over her site for a year! I will be forever grateful I finally took the plunge, because this was an instant winner with my family.

After repenting and making many other recipes from her, I am so glad there are resources out there for those who can’t eat grains, or who choose not to. I have since found many others and have had fun experimenting with my own paleo-based baked goods. I adapted this one slightly. Kids love it!

If there was one time in my life when my skin looked amazing and my body looked its best, it was when I was gluten, dairy and egg free! I only did it for about a month, but it really was amazing. Unfortunatey, it was before the whole paleo craze and it was sooo hard to find good recipes! I love that there are so many people doing it now! There are things that I don't like about paleo, but mostly I love the whole idea of it. I will most definitely have to try this recipe. It looks delicious! Thanks for sharing.

I can’t wait to try it!

We tried this the other day and my kids loved it! I like it especially for my middle child who won’t eat any meat, it gives me something else to feed him so I feel like he is at least getting some protein throughout the day.
    Thanks!
