I just started juicing about a month ago, and I am noticing the difference PMS also! I have also been juicing beets.

  2. Melibe says:

Outstanding! thank you for the advice. I look forward to trying incorporating the fruits and veggies as you have mentioned above. I have really bad cramps right now but I too have been juicing but I would like to see if their is a shift when I incorporate more of the “ain't -cramping ” produce into my diet. Thanks again…I am going to the kitchen right now!

Thank you! I felt like I was reading my own personal bio. I just started doing juicing but have been doing smoothies (and yes I use pinapples!) for about a month and half now. I first noticed the difference in cramps when I started my cycle yesterday and didn't even know I had started til I went to the bathroom! Usually I'll cramp a day or two before. Since doing the smoothies (last month) I noticed another thing that was extremely different ….. my period got lighter! I mean for years I've been using a whole pack of pads…the big diaper pads! But last month I used about 2 during the day and a fresh one at night (3).

Ok. Sorry for rambling on your blog, but I really appreciate you posting this. Now I will intentionally make sure I eat the foods you mentioned.

    Thank You!

  4. As soon as I started reading I was thinking magnesium. I smiled when I saw you hit it in your conclusions. I was wondering if you thought about the kids probably needing it too, being so low whe you were pregnant? May try feeding them sunflower and pumpkin seeds or other magnesium rich foods. Just a thought! Good for you! Hope you continue to experience better health. 🙂
