Hi, I'm Kels!

The Best Sourdough Glazed Donuts

If you have ever gone gluten free, you know it can be hard to find those special “treats” that feel like you are still eating wheat! After being diagnosed gluten intolerant, I missed crackers! One of my favorite “meals” is a snack  tray with crackers, cheese, meat, pickles, etc. I tried a few different gluten free crackers and rice crackers, but the ingredient lists still made me cringe (just because it’s ‘gluten free’ DOES NOT mean it’s good for you).

Recently I have been seeing these Jilz Gluten Free crackerz all over my instagram feed. They looked and sounded amazing and I was dying to try them. Lo and behold, Jill contacted me to send me some to try and review!

My box came a few days ago and I immediately ripped into them. My kids (and husband) were all hovering as I took some pictures before I let anyone try them. Then we got out some meat, mustard, pickles, and I got the kids some cheese and we went wild. I tried all three flavors: cracked pepper and sea salt, Mediterranean, and Tuscan. My absolute favorite was the Tuscan – it blew me away. It has hints of tomato and lemon and was so fresh and good. For not having crackers for a very long time, I was so so happy to have these perfectly crunchy and beautifully seasoned crackers in my mouth.

I have a reputation of always checking ingredient labels. When I flipped these over for the “true test” I said to my husband, “LOOK AT THIS!!!” Are you ready?

Ingredients (for cracked black pepper and sea salt):

  • Almond flour
  • organic sesame seeds
  • organic tapioca flour
  • purified water
  • organic chia seeds
  • organic flax seeds
  • organic apple cider vinegar

  • sea salt
  • coarse ground peppercorns

Gluten free, Grain free, Dairy free, Soy free, Corn free, Vegan, 3 g fiber, 3 g protein.

Say what?!?!? That has to be one of THEE cleanest ingredient lists I have ever come across. I was smitten. Not only are they clean, they are tasty! I love simple food, and these are simple.

I also really love the short shelf life — that is a true testament to the real, fresh ingredients! I will be ordering more of these soon – because we’ve already almost eaten all three varieties.

I am a new lover of Jilz Gluten Free! If you know anyone who can’t tolerate gluten (and we all know someone, don’t we), point them towards these crackers for a nice treat and break in their gluten free diets. Or someone who eats gluten all the time – these are for everyone. Paleo friendly and scrumptious!

** I received product to review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

My girlfriend from Or. sent me these wonderful crackers for Christmas. The problem is I cannot find them here in my small town in Maryland. HELP!

You can order them directly from their site, or from Amazon! Just google Jillz Crackerz and those should be the first things to pop up! Hope it helps.
