This Paleo Fruit Crisp is an easy dessert with no added sweeteners!
When I did my first round of Whole30, I probably went through what most people do – trying to get over the thought that you need something sweet at certain times. For me, this is Sundays. I don’t make dessert or treats all the time (besides baking cookies and things with my natural yeast), but on Sundays, we relax and have a treat after dinner! It’s a weekly thing we all look forward to. I don’t feel I have to have dessert all the time in order to be satisfied, and I feel I have a very healthy relationship with food. So while doing that Whole30 the first time, I threw together this fruit crisp with compliant ingredients, and it was so tasty, I had to share.
I know it’s against the rules to try and make desserts . . . so just eat this when you are done Whole30 if you are doing it now . . . or make your own decision. If dessert is a vice for you, I don’t recommend this. But if you are looking for a Paleo dessert that you can make this summer – this is it! It’s simple, delicious, and has no added sugar or sweetener at all! The orange in the coconut cream REALLY adds something awesome to this; the citrus makes all of the other flavors pop.
